BLUE RODEO TACKLES GEORGE

Here's Greg, Jim, Bazil, and the rest of the gang with their version of the Jerry Chestnut staple, Good Year For The Roses, made famous by George Jones, but also covered by Elvis Costello (on his Almost Blue album, which inspired the band's name) and Johnny Paycheck, among others. From Blue Rodeo's recent 2008 CD/DVD release, Blue Road. A lovely steel solo courtesy of one of the band's newer members, Mr. Bob Egan (Souled American, Freakwater, Wilco).
